Oral Rehabilitation
We know losing a tooth can be frustrating, but we have solutions to help you smile again.
Crown and Bridges
Both crowns and bridges are methods of restoring teeth. They are fixed dental appliances that need to be fixed on the teeth and cannot be removed from the mouth.
A brace is like a custom-made cap that fits over a damaged or decayed tooth, protecting it and restoring its shape and function.
A dental bridge is a solution for replacing missing teeth. It uses the teeth on both sides of the vacant space as bridge piers to replace the missing teeth in the middle.
Braces and bridges can be made of different materials, including ceramic, metal, or a combination of both. Different materials are suitable for different purposes, and you can discuss with your dentist which material is best for you.
Removable dentures
Removable dentures can be divided into complete dentures and partial dentures.
Complete Dentures
Complete dentures are used when all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw have been extracted. They are held in place by suction between the dentures and the mouth. In some cases, users may need to use denture adhesive or implants for additional support.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. They typically have clasps that attach to the existing teeth to keep the denture secure.
All removable dentures need to be removed for cleaning and require regular check-ups for maintenance.
Dental Implant
Dental implants are one of the solutions to replace lost teeth. Dental implants mainly consist of two parts: the implant fixture and the crown. The implant fixture is placed in the jaw bone, while the crown is placed above the gums.
First, your dentist will surgically place the implant in your jawbone to allow it to fuse with the jawbone. After the implant has fused with the bone, your dentist will fit the implant with a custom-made crown to replace the lost tooth.
Dental implants are a common way to replace missing teeth, and with proper care, they can last quite a long time. Therefore, it is very important to maintain good oral hygiene and have regular dental checkups to ensure the long-term success of your implants.
